Elections for a new executive to begin a three-year term on January 1, 2026 are now complete.

Thank you to everyone who put their names forward. And thank you to our Elections Committee – Danielle Jennings, Nancy Parker, and Carole Lefebvre – for all your work.
Our bylaws allow the Executive Committee to fill the vacant positions and some names have already come in after nominations closed. The current executive has agreed that it is appropriate for the new committee to take that on. Also consistent with our bylaws, the outgoing and incoming executives will have a transition meeting before year end, date to be determined.
CSRA Meeting and Social at the CUPE National Convention
If you plan to be at the CUPE National Convention on Tuesday, October 7, or live in the Toronto area, please join us for a CSRA members meeting at 10 a.m. to noon in Room 603, Metro Convention Centre. Simultaneous translation will be provided in the room.
We’ll also have some social time, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Ontario/Niagara Room at the Intercontinental Hotel, 225 Front Street West. Hors d’oeuvres will be served as we have a chance to catch up with old friends and colleagues.
If you have not done so already, your RSVP to cuperetirees@gmail.com will help us with planning for both events.

Nos règlements permettent au comité exécutif de pourvoir les postes vacants, et certains noms ont déjà été proposés après la clôture des candidatures. Le comité exécutif actuel a convenu qu’il était approprié que le nouveau comité s’en charge. Conformément à nos règlements, les membres sortants et entrants du comité exécutif tiendront une réunion de transition avant la fin de l’année, à une date qui reste à déterminer.
Réunion et rencontre sociale de l’APRS lors du congrès national du SCFP
Si vous prévoyez assister au congrès national du SCFP le mardi 7 octobre ou si vous habitez dans la région de Toronto, venez nous rejoindre pour une réunion des membres de l’APRS de 10 h à midi dans la salle 603 du Metro Convention Centre. Une traduction simultanée sera assurée dans la salle.

Nous organiserons également un moment de convivialité, de 17 h à 19 h, dans la salle Ontario/Niagara de l’hôtel Intercontinental, situé au 225 Front Street West. Des hors-d’œuvre seront servis et nous aurons l’occasion de retrouver d’anciens amis et collègues.
